My family and I had a bad experience here in the past. The other day we decided to give them another chance and again we were disappointed should have known!! My burger was so under cooked it was bleeding and I asked to have it well-well done. The waitress apologized & took it back the manager then brought me a whole new burger which I decided to have wrapped because my family was already done eating their food which they were not impressed with. Anyway I got home and my burger was still pink and the bacon was still raw. So discusted with this place it's not even funny!! You'd be better off eating elseware..... Never been to Cracker Barrel which is next door to Red Robin but I imagine it has to have better food. My family and I will stick with our usual "Longhornes Red Lobster Inn Flight - Wing Walkers Benny & the Bums Famous Daves Etc."

It was fantastic when with the original management. Very authentic and had a nice ambiance. Apparently they got out of the restaurant business and started a gas-station. Then under a different management the place got trashed really bad. The service and food got horrendous and it was no more our fav places (seems like the gas station owner traded places :)) NOW under a new management and name the place is trying to restore its old glory - a tough nut in restaurant business. The decor has changed. Looks more like a large dining hall which we don't care about much. We preferred the separated divider look in the middle of the room it had earlier. The colors are more inviting now. The staff although small is friendly and caters to its customers well. THE FOOD IS THE BEST BETTER THAN UDUPI - YOU CANNOT GO WRONG here. The quality is exceptionally good or better than the original Udupi. Now there is non-veg dishes to die of - our favorite - mutton kotthu parotha - very flavorful and just like you get back in India. Order South Indian dishes at a South Indian place - you may not have the same experience ordering vindaloo like chettinad. Of-course you can't go wrong with Dosa's. Try their plain yogurt (not raita just yogurt) just for kicks - you'll know what I am taking about - get the basics right things will fall in place. Hope this place stays open for a while.

The staff is friendly and I love the regulars that come in there. "JJ" is one of the old timers that comes in almost every day and has a thousand stories to tell. It's definitly worth a listen is you're a local. The wait staff is quick and food is so yummie! Try it out.

This last time was the last time we will ever dine there again. The portions are no longer as big as they were years ago...the staff is dressed like they should be working in a diner. I ordered Prime Rib and even though it was a large piece of meat..I could not eat half of it because of the grzzle and fat that made up a good part of the cut. My wife had the veal which is no longer hanging over the plate. We finished about 8 PM and the place was empty on a Thursday. No doubt people have figured out they can go somewhere else and pay a little more and get better quality.
