Even the security guards were stuck up and rude when I asked a question for simple directions sorry I interrupted their nail polish party. AVOID THIS WANNA BE RICH GLAMOROUS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! PLUS I GOT A METER TICKET WHEN I STILL HAD A MINUTE ON THE METER I GUESS THE COP FIGURED I WOULD SHOW UP WAY AFTER I AM FIGHTING THE TICKET THIS PLACE IS A JOKE I WISH I COULD GIVE IT NEGATIVE STARS

I thought Old Orchard mall was pretty but it's nothing compared to Oak Brook Mall. Check it out.

On Sunday Nov 10 I had placed and pay for an order of a ice cream birthday cake a week before my birthday. Then on Tuesday Dec 2 the store manager called to confirm the time and day of pick up. When I went to pick up the cake on my birthday the worker claimed that there was no order of the cake. I have the receipt to proof of purchased and had asked to see the manager. I was then told that the manager could not be reached. The worker said that she was not the one who written the order and that there is nothing she can do but only to refund me the money. They claimed that it was not their fault and will not take any responsibility for it. And tried to accused me of being the cause for this mess because " I was not being specific" which is totally false. The store manager even called me twice to confirm the date. The attitude of the worker made the problem worst and I was not satisfied at their service at all. Thanks for making this the worst birthday ever. Needless to say I will never visit the store again.

No monies were ever collected and/or exchanged and those wishing to give are directed to Salvation Army or a non-profit organization though we are not affiliated with any of them. It's an opportunity for others to actively participate and to bring people to the mall during these rough economic times. We witnessed a handicap wheel-chaired senior who helped ring Christmas bells while the group sang. We witnessed near-by window shoppers passing-by and singing along a Christmas song in unison with the group. We witnessed children and families joining and clapping hands during the game. We witnessed one family who lost a family-member in Iraq joining us and enjoying their stay in the mall. Eventually two mall security guards asked us to leave and we were told that (1) no games were allowed in the mall; (2) we were taking up space - loitering; (3) accused of disrupting peace...which leads us to believe that they don't want people in the mall during this special holiday season and with that conclusion we peacefully left....Please note that on this day we bought in the mall several Christmas gifts and food totaling $100.00 and if possible we returned them all. We would appreciated a prompt response for this will be posted in several websites. Thank you for time and consideration. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

It has alot of cool stores and a great atmosphere. The first time i came here i didnt know there was another part of the mall until a worker told me to go through JC Pennys then i discovered the other half of the mall. It also has like the only Apple store nearby which was great! I recomend this mall to everyone! :)

I've lived on Oahu now for almost 2 years now. The longer I am here the more I love this place. The Ala Moana Mall is a good example. Besides the interaction with the sweet sweet people of this city and island where else can you go to enjoy an international shopping experience? There are stores from Japan and other foriegn countries that I've not seen anywhere else in any other state of the U.S. Of course the weather is always perfect even when it's raining. The Mall is beautifully landscaped and clean. There's the variety. And to me it always comes back to the people and the aloha that is truly present in this mall city and island. All I can say is "WOW!"
